Hi, I'm Jordan.

Nine years ago, I never imagined I’d be here—running my own vintage camera shop in downtown Syracuse and turning my passion into a full-time career.

I’m a millennial who grew up in the digital age but fell in love with the craftsmanship and nostalgia of film cameras. What started as a hobby—buying, refurbishing, and selling vintage cameras and lenses on the side—slowly grew into something much bigger.

My Story

With the unwavering support of my incredible (and very patient) wife, I decided to take the leap and open Syracuse Camera, a small, one-person shop dedicated to preserving and sharing the beauty of analog photography.

Over the past decade, I’ve built relationships with photographers, collectors, and auction houses across the globe. I’ve spent countless hours researching, restoring, and carefully curating gear that deserves a second life. From high-end Leica and Hasselblad systems to everyday film shooters, I take pride in offering honest gear for photographers who appreciate quality and history.

When the second-hand camera market began booming again—especially for film equipment—I knew it was time to go all in. A few years ago, I was fortunate enough to acquire a remarkable out-of-state camera collection that gave me the push (and the inventory) to make Syracuse Camera a full-time reality.

This isn’t just a business—it’s personal. Every camera that comes through the door has a story, and I love helping it find its next one.

If you’re looking to buy or sell vintage cameras and lenses in Syracuse, or just want to chat about gear, feel free to reach out or stop by the shop. Whether you’re a collector, a shooter, or someone rediscovering film for the first time, I’m happy to help you find something special.
